Intel Atom x6425E vs Intel Core Ultra 7 265

Last updated:
The Intel Atom x6425E is based on the Elkhart Lake architecture and was developed for use in industrial systems as well as embedded applications.

Manufactured using the 10 nm process, this processor provides four cores. Internal comparisons show solid performance for specialized tasks, with single-core performance optimized for simple control tasks. The integrated Intel UHD Graphics 10th Gen (32 EU) primarily serves for image output. Due to the low thermal design power and the lack of L3 cache, the computing unit is not designed for gaming or demanding software.

With PCIe 3.0 support and a memory bandwidth of 119 GB/s, the focus is on reliability in continuous operation. The price-performance ratio is advantageous for the industrial sector due to low operating costs. The Intel Core Ultra 7 265 uses the Arrow Lake architecture and is produced using the 3 nm process.

This processor is designed for demanding desktop applications and offers significantly higher performance in multi-core scenarios as well as single-core performance compared to the Atom model due to its high core count. With 36 MB L2 cache and 33 MB L3 cache, it handles complex data volumes efficiently.

The integrated Intel Xe 4 Core Graphics 64 EUs (Arrow Lake) offers good graphical capacity, with the CPU achieving high performance in games, especially in combination with dedicated graphics cards. Thanks to PCIe 5.0, a fast connection of components is guaranteed. Despite higher power consumption, the price-performance ratio is appropriate for gaming users, as the investment provides high future-proof computing power.
