It uses the more modern 14-nanometer process, which enables improved efficiency compared to the predecessor model. With four cores and four threads as well as a Level 3 cache of 2 MB, it offers a practical basis for mobile applications.

In relevant benchmarks, it achieves results that are almost identical to the Intel Atom Z3735F, which is why CPU performance is classified as equal. The Intel HD Graphics 400 benefits from slightly higher memory bandwidth, which however hardly raises gaming performance above the level of the simplest applications.
