Compared to the more modern model, the computing performance drops significantly in both single-core and multi-core applications. In gaming scenarios, the Apple A9X graphics unit reaches its load limits much faster.

Energy efficiency is lower due to the older feature size, which affects thermal dynamics. This processor is mainly found in devices for simple tasks like web browsing, as it reaches its capacity limits with complex software.
