It utilizes the more efficient Alder Lake N architecture with a 10 nm process, offering 4 cores, 4 threads, 4 MB L2, and 6 MB L3 cache. The Intel UHD Graphics 24 EUs (Alder Lake) provides improved graphics performance with a TDP of 12 watts. In benchmarks, the Intel Processor N97 shows significantly higher single-core performance (over 30 percent) and multi-core performance (over 90 percent) compared to the AMD Ryzen 3 3200U, thanks to its newer architecture and core count.

Neither processor is designed for gaming; the Intel UHD Graphics of the N97 offers a slight advantage over the AMD Radeon RX Vega 3, limited to very simple titles. The Intel Processor N97 offers a better current price-performance ratio due to its higher performance and efficiency.
