Description of the processor

The Intel Pentium 7505 is a dual-core processor for inexpensive notebooks. Its two CPU cores support Intel Hyperthreading Technology, so this processor can process a total of 4 threads simultaneously. With a clock frequency of 2 GHz, which can be boosted up to 3.5 GHz via Turbo mode, it is fast enough for smooth web surfing, e-mail and simple office tasks.

The processor is based on Intels 10 nm Tiger Lake architecture, which was introduced in 2020 and has been replaced by the Alder Lake architecture since 2021. With its 4 MB level 3 cache, the Intel Pentium 7505 has enough buffer memory for normal applications or older or undemanding games.

The Intel UHD Graphics G4 is used as the iGPU (internal graphics) in the Intel Pentium 7505, which has 48 execution units and clocks at up to 1.25 GHz. With a graphics processing power of almost 1 TFLOP per second, many older games can be played smoothly at medium resolutions and details. However, the internal graphics unit is not suitable for faster games or high resolutions.

In theory, the Intel Pentium 7505 supports up to 64 GB of DDR4-3200 or LPDDR4-3733 memory. However, since the processor is used in relatively inexpensive mobile devices, the standard equipment is usually 8 to 16 GB of RAM, which is absolutely sufficient for all suitable applications.

The processor supports the main memory connection via two memory channels, which doubles the memory bandwidth. External devices can already be connected via the new PCIe 4.0 interface with 16 lines. This can be, for example, a dedicated graphics card for increased gaming performance or a fast M.2 SSD.
