The MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ is a high-end mobile processor for current flagship smartphones.

The MediaTek Dimensity 9400 is its successor generation, also for premium smartphones, with the aim of further increasing performance and efficiency.

The Dimensity 9300+ is manufactured using the 4 nm process and utilizes ARM Cortex-X4 and Cortex-A720 cores, with 18 MB of Level-3 cache. The Dimensity 9400 benefits from the more advanced 3 nm process and integrates the latest ARM Cortex-X5, Cortex-X4, and Cortex-A725 cores. Both are from MediaTek and have 77 GB/s memory bandwidth.

The MediaTek Dimensity 9400 surpasses the Dimensity 9300+ in single-core and multi-core performance by over 10 percent. This leads to a noticeably faster execution of demanding tasks. The integrated ARM Immortalis-G925 MC12 graphics unit of the Dimensity 9400 offers higher performance than the ARM Immortalis-G720 MC12 of the Dimensity 9300+.

This enables better frame rates and graphics quality. The 3 nm manufacturing process makes the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 more energy-efficient than the 4 nm Dimensity 9300+. This can mean longer battery life or higher performance at the same power consumption. As smartphone components, no direct end-consumer prices are available.

However, devices with the Dimensity 9400 are expected to be in the upper price segment due to the more advanced technology and performance. The MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ offers excellent performance for current premium smartphones.
