V-Ray CPU-Render Benchmark

V-Ray is a 3D rendering software from the manufacturer Chaos for designers and artists. Unlike many other render engines, V-Ray is capable of so-called hybrid rendering, in which the CPU and GPU work together at the same time.

However, the CPU benchmark we used (CPU Render Mode) only uses the system's processor. The working memory used plays a major role in the V-Ray benchmark. For our benchmarks we use the fastest RAM standard approved by the manufacturer (without overclocking).

Due to the high compatibility of V-Ray (including Autodesk 3ds Max, Maya, Cinema 4D, SketchUp, Unreal Engine and Blender), it is a frequently used software. With V-Ray, for example, photorealistic images can be rendered that laypeople cannot distinguish from normal photos.

Monero Hashrate kH/s

The crypto currency Monero has been using the RandomX algorithm since November 2019. This PoW (proof of work) algorithm can only efficiently be calculated using a processor (CPU) or a graphics card (GPU). The CryptoNight algorithm was used for Monero until November 2019, but it could be calculated using ASICs. RandomX benefits from a high number of CPU cores, cache and a fast connection of the memory via as many memory channels as possible. Tested with XMRig v6.x under the operation system HiveOS.

To trade Monero you can register with the crypto broker Kraken.com. We've been customers there for a few years now and have been very satisfied so far.

Intel Core i5-11600K Intel Core i5-10600K
Unknown Unknown
The Intel Core i5-11600K comes from the eleventh generation of Intel's CPU program and offers a few small improvements over the Intel Core i5-10600K. The Intel Core i5-11600K published in the first quarter of the year 2021 is manufactured in the 14-nanometer procedure and is based on the "Rocket Lake" microarchitecture. The Intel Core i5-10600K published in the second quarter of the year 2020 is also manufactured in the 14-nanometer procedure, but is still based on the predecessor architecture "Comet Lake".

The processors each have 6 cores, support the hyper-threading technology and can be overclocked. The Intel Core i5-11600K has the slighter basic clock with up to 3.90 Gigahertz, but the maximum turbo tact with up to 4,90 Gigahertz is slightly higher than in the Intel Core i5-10600K, where the basic clock at 4.10 Gigahertz and The maximum turbo tact at 4,80 Gigahertz is located.

At our benchmarks you can read that the Intel Core i5-11600K is about 15 percent faster than the Intel Core i5-10600K.

The processors both have an internal graphic unit. In the Intel Core i5-11600K, the "Intel UHD Graphics 750" is used. This IGPU clocks here with up to 1.30 gigahertz and has 32 execution units with 256 shaders. In the Intel Core i5-10600K, the slightly older "Intel UHD Graphics 630" is used. This graphics unit clocks up to 1.20 gigahertz and has 24 switching units with 192 shaders.

The FP32 computing power of the Intel UHD Graphics 750 is slightly more than 30 percent better with 666 Gigaflops than the Intel UHD Graphics 630 where FP32 computing power is 461 gigaFlops.

Both processors have 2 memory channels with which they support the operation of up to 128 gigabytes of memory. The Intel Core i5-11600K supports modules up to the Type DDR4-3200 and the Intel Core i5-10600K to Type DDR4-2933.

Another difference is still that the Intel Core i5-11600K has integrated 20 PCIe lines in version 4.0, whereas the Intel Core i5-10600K must take advantage of 16 wires of Type 3.0.
