Monero Hashrate kH/s

The crypto currency Monero has been using the RandomX algorithm since November 2019. This PoW (proof of work) algorithm can only efficiently be calculated using a processor (CPU) or a graphics card (GPU). The CryptoNight algorithm was used for Monero until November 2019, but it could be calculated using ASICs. RandomX benefits from a high number of CPU cores, cache and a fast connection of the memory via as many memory channels as possible. Tested with XMRig v6.x under the operation system HiveOS.

The Intel Core i5-11600K comes from the eleventh generation of Intel's CPU program and offers a few small improvements over the Intel Core i5-10600K. The Intel Core i5-11600K published in the first quarter of the year 2021 is manufactured in the 14-nanometer procedure and is based on the "Rocket Lake" microarchitecture. The Intel Core i5-10600K published in the second quarter of the year 2020 is also manufactured in the 14-nanometer procedure, but is still based on the predecessor architecture "Comet Lake".

The processors each have 6 cores, support the hyper-threading technology and can be overclocked. The Intel Core i5-11600K has the slighter basic clock with up to 3.90 Gigahertz, but the maximum turbo tact with up to 4,90 Gigahertz is slightly higher than in the Intel Core i5-10600K, where the basic clock at 4.10 Gigahertz and The maximum turbo tact at 4,80 Gigahertz is located.

At our benchmarks you can read that the Intel Core i5-11600K is about 15 percent faster than the Intel Core i5-10600K.

The processors both have an internal graphic unit. In the Intel Core i5-11600K, the "Intel UHD Graphics 750" is used. This IGPU clocks here with up to 1.30 gigahertz and has 32 execution units with 256 shaders. In the Intel Core i5-10600K, the slightly older "Intel UHD Graphics 630" is used.
