Intel Core i3-8100T vs Intel Core i3-N305

The Intel Core i3-8100T is a desktop processor (Coffee Lake S) from the 14nm process with 4 cores and 4 threads, designed for energy-efficient desktop systems and basic tasks.

The Intel Core i3-N305, on the other hand, is a newer processor (Alder Lake N) from the 10nm process with 8 efficient cores and 8 threads, primarily for compact laptops and mini-PCs with a focus on high energy efficiency.

The Intel Core i3-N305 significantly outperforms the Intel Core i3-8100T in single-core and multi-core performance due to its more modern architecture. This leads to better responsiveness and multitasking capability. Neither processor is suitable for demanding gaming.
