Description of the processor

The Intel Core i7-1065G7 is a 10th generation processor from Intels Core-i7 series. The special feature of this processor is that it has a very strong graphic processor. You can see this in the processor name at the addition "G7". But lets take a closer look at the processor performance.

Although the 4 cores of the Intel Core i7-1065G7 clock with up to 1.30 Gigahertz, in turbomodus, the clock frequency is increased up to 3,90 gigahertz (single core utilization) or 3.50 gigahertz (multi-tough load). This helps the CPU to strong 457 points in the Cinebench R20 Single-Core benchmark and is therefore on the level of an I9 processor from the ninth generation (eg Intel Core i9-9980HK. The Intel Core i7-1065G7 supports Intels hyperhtreading technology, So has 8 threads with its 4 cores. Overclocking can not be the processor.

But we now come to the graphics unit already mentioned. In the Intel Core I7-1065G7, an "Intel Iris Plus Graphics 940" is installed. This graphic unit comes from the eleventh generation of Intels graphics processors and has a total of 64 execution units (Execution Units). In order to be able to classify this better, you have to know that the graphics units of the Intel Core i7 processors of ninth generations all have only 24 execution units and thus already equipped quite well equipped. Dier here built graphic unit has a base clock of 350 megahertz and a maximum dynamic clock frequency of 1.10 gigahertz. Another great strength of the GPU is that a resolution of up to 5120 x 3000 @ 120Hz can be output via the display port.

The Intel Core i7-1065G7 is used in powerful notebooks such as the Razer Blade Stealth 13 or the HP Spectre X360, but Microsoft also offers Microsoft Surface Pro 7 in various variants with this processor.
